'Ocean Life' newsletter celebrates publishing of 'Love is ...'

Kimberly Lipsky Weidman, daughter of Judy and the late Don Lipsky, longtime Ocean Club (Atlantic City, NJ) residents, is a newly published author. Kimberly has written a meaningful children’s book, "Love is …" The beauty of this is that she wrote it 44 years ago when she was 8 years old. Not surprisingly, the book is dedicated to “Mom and Dad for every-ing” (original spelling). 

A marketing professional for the past 30 years, Kimberly decided to have the story illustrated after the passing of her father. She also started her own company, KLJ Happiness, inspired by her dad’s known kindness (many people in our building have a story about Don helping them). KLJ stands for Kindness, Love, Joy. “It’s more of a lifestyle brand to promote positivity and inspire people to pursue their dreams,” says Kimberly.

Kimberly’s message of “Kindness. Love. Joy” is starting to spread with a recent article in the Reading Eagle newspaper and as a guest speaker for the Pagoda Writers group at Barnes & Noble in Wyomissing, Pa.

At a time when so many disparate ideas seem to be unraveling the fabric of many lives and communities, Love is ... is a simple reminder of what really matters.
